Vivekananda Study Centre

B.N college Dhubri, has set up a Vivekananda Study Centre, in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant to provide holistic education to the students of the college keeping in mind Swami Vivekananda’s vision of ‘Man Making and Nation Building’.

The primary mission of the centre is to mould the young minds during the span of their academic sessions in such a way that they can contribute towards the development of the society and nation at large.

The purpose of the centre is to motivate these young minds with the teachings of Swamiji, who had emphasised on the all-round development of an individual – physical, mental and spiritual.

If an individual is physically fit, only then will he be able to take a healthy decision. For that purpose, Swamiji emphasized on physical exercise, especially on the practice of Yoga, which in turn helps an individual for spiritual upliftment.

Keeping in mind the ideas of Swamiji, the centre organizes lecture series on “Man making and Nation building.

The centre has also taken initiative to set up a Yoga centre which is actively teaching different types of yoga under a trained instructor. An Add on Course on Yoga and Life Skill was also been introduced by the college under the initiative of Vivekananda Study Centre from the academic session 2022-2023.,
