Computer Science Department was established in the year of 2009 with an idea to spread the knowledge of Computer science among the students of this area. The department strives and provides industry ready professionals. The courses are delivered through lectures with excellent faculty (who are experienced both in academics and at industry level). Since the College has Science Stream along with major in different disciplines except Computer Science. The student can choose Computer Science as a regular paper along with other papers in B. Sc.  Course. 

The syllabus designed by GU for Computer Science paper consists of programming knowledge about python, HTML, shell programming, concept about database and all necessary units needed in today's environment. Practical paper also available in each semester which can help the students to gather practical knowledge. The course modules are assessed with the assignments, presentations and examinations.
