Observance of the World Environment Day ,2023
The Department of Botany, B.N. College, Dhubri observed the World Environment Day on 5th June, 2023 in collaboration with Eco Club and Environment and Climate Cell . Students and faculty members of various departments participated in the event enthusiastically. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Dhruba Chakrabortty. In his inaugural speech he emphasized on the need of reducing plastic pollution and promote green eco-friendly environment in the college campus in particular and everywhere in general. The students and faculty members of various departments participated in the Ankuran: seed sowing programme followed by tree Plantation programme. In this occasion Mr. Biswajit Goswami, Retd. Head, Department of Botany, Bilasipara College, Dhubri, Assam delivered eliminating lecture on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The coordinator of Environment and Climate Cell, B.N. College, Dr. Samuel Sheikh also delivered a lecture on “Mission LiFE” to create awareness among all participants to adopt a healthy environment friendly lifestyle. Read More

Mr. Subham Paul, student of B.Sc. 5th Semester (Honours) has successfully completed the 4 credit course on "Principles of Genetics" under Swayam online course certification, Govt. of India. He scored 73%.
Mr. Indrajit Debnath, student of B.Sc. 5th Semester (Honours) has successfully completed the 4 credit course on "Principles of Genetics" under Swayam online course certification, Govt. of India. He scored 75%.
Dhananjay Debnath a student of B.Sc. 3rd sem Botany (Honours) secured Gold Medal in All Assam State Karate Championship, 2022.
